We’re going to give this a shot and see if it works. Tonight at 8:30ET we will be recording Word On The Tweet episode 11 with Jeff Parsons, Fred Abaroa, David Rosen, and Heather DeSimone. For the first time we’ll be streaming the recording live with video. This is some major beta stuff so we’ll try it for as long as the bandwidth will allow us. Here is the link to the chat room to watch and hear the podcast:
http://tinychat.com/wordonthetweet
All we ask is that you please do not turn on your cameras and microphones while we are recording. Interacting with the panel in chat however is encouraged.
If you want to show up early feel free. Cameras and mics before and after the recording are fine.
Hope to see you tonight for the first ever live Word On the Tweet!

Tonight Show Twitter Tracker
June 3, 2009 by Jeff Parsons · Leave a Comment
Conan O’Brien took over the Tonight Show this week and besides being on an hour earlier and getting new digs in Los Angeles that are reminiscent of the Carson set, not much with him has changed. I still think Conan is 100% funnier than Leno ever was.
This bit however wasn’t one of his better ones. Just a monster truck like voice guy shouting cute Twitter puns for their supposed “Tonight Show Twitter Tracker” segment, while Conan pleads that all the hype isn’t necessary. A comment on the sudden popularity of Twitter I guess. Eh. Hope it get better from here Conan. Check out the clip below.
Twitter Coming To XBox 360
June 1, 2009 by Jeff Parsons · 1 Comment

Microsoft continues its efforts to make the XBox 360 more than just a gaming platform by adding its very own Twitter client. Microsoft made the announcement today at E3 along with a slew of other additions to the console that are expected later this year in the annual fall update. Also included are the addition of Last.fm and Facebook integration.
John Schappert, corporate vice president of Interactive Entertainment LIVE, Software and Studios at Microsoft had this to say of the new upgrade:
By bringing Twitter, Facebook and Last.fm to Xbox 360, we’re not only extending the walls of your living room beyond your home to your friends all over the world, we’re creating the definitive social network, uniting more than 300 million people to share thoughts on music, play games and tweet.
Looks like a purchase of that attachable to the controller keyboard thing-a-ma-bob is in the future for a lot of XBox users.
