Jeff Leaving Word On The Tweet

After some thought, I’ve come to the decision to take my leave of the Word On the Tweet podcast. Fred and I started this show as a weekly look at what’s happening with Twitter and we’ve grown right along with it.

I always envisioned the show as a bunch of friends sitting around a table, having a few beers and talking about the social media network we all love. Each show has met that expectation and then some. I’ve just reached a point where I’d like to concentrate my energy elsewhere.

Where would that be? I’m not sure yet. I want to do another genre of podcast, but as of now I am in the middle of the brainstorming process. Something should present itself in the coming months.

So what happens with Word On The Tweet? Fred has expressed an interest to continue the show after a brief hiatus. I wish him the best of luck, and if he chooses to invite me to be a guest on the show on occasion, I would be more than happy to. My leaving the show has nothing to do with Fred whatsoever. The show will be just fine in his hands and may even be better.

Thank you to all who listened to the show, and to all the guests we’ve had that graciously gave their time and talent to be a part of it. I hope you continue to listen to Word On The Tweet in the future no matter what direction it takes.

I’ll still be constantly tweeting so keep an eye out for whatever I cook up in the future.
